DOVES Welcomes New Staff and Family Members

We’ve had a lot to celebrate here at DOVES! We’d like to start by congratulating our Latino Advocate, Laura Morales-Rojas, who recently gave birth to her new son Pablo. We are all very excited to have another member of our DOVES family. While Laura and Becca (our Transitional Advocate) have both been out on maternity leave, the rest of us here at DOVES Outreach have been working hard to make sure our clients still get the advocacy they need. We’d also like to congratulate our Outreach Counselor, Maria Negrete who recently became engaged. We at DOVES always appreciate when our staff and those community members who support us can act as examples of what healthy, supportive relationships look like, and we wish Maria and her future husband all the happiness in the world. In other news, DOVES was happy to welcome a new advocate to our Outreach office at Summit Plaza, Dina Herrera. Dina has become a valuable member of our team, and an awesome resource to our clients, especially those who speak Spanish exclusively. June also saw three new clients added to DOVES transitional program, along with their six children. DOVES is proud to be assisting these survivors of domestic violence and their families to live happy lives, free from abuse.
